  Bowl For Kids’ Sake proceeds match children with positive Big Brother and Big Sister volunteer mentors. With the funds raised from the 2009 event, 60 children were matched to a Big Brother or Big Sister! Our goal this year is to match 75 kids! With your help we can meet that goal and maybe even exceed it!

The children in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program often come from one parent families and are usually disadvantaged academically, socially, and emotionally. Studies over the past year of matches show:

• 83% improved school performance in one or more subjects
• 92% have spent at least 3 hours a week in developing skills in sports, cultural or church activities
• 94% were not involved with drugs, delinquency, sexual activity, or alcohol

  Bowling, T-shirts, and pizza are free when you return $75 in pledges. Additional prizes will be awarded for the top team recruiter, the top individual fundraiser, and individual pledge benchmarks ($150, $300, and $500+). And new this year… a $1,000 Prize Drawing! The annual Spirit Award will also be given to the team that is fun, energetic, and enthusiastic!
